 Today in class we read and had an assignment on Newsela. I am having a great day today. Went to the gym this morning and got caught up on all of my work so I feel very productive. I enjoy assignments like this because I get to work at my own pace and then work on other stuff after. I learned how to analyze a question better and the text. Have a great day!

 Today we worked on argumentative essays and how to create claims. I love argumentative essays and they are my favorite form of essays. I enjoyed todays lesson and learned more ways to collect evidence and support for or against my claim. I think i want to be a lawyer and this assignment just highlighted how much i enjoy things of the sort. I am feeling tired today and ready to go.

 Today in class we started presentations. I submitted mine in the wrong spot so I wasnt able to present today. but im excited for when i do get to present. Didnt really learn anything new. I am feeling great today and excited for the weekend.

 Today in we read chapter 7. I dont really enjoy reading so I didnt really have fun but i undertstand the importance of it so I will continue reading. I didnt really learn anything new besides some vocab words and details about characters and events. I am having a wonderful day and ready for the week to be over with.

 today in class we worked on character presentations. I already finished mine and felt as if this was a good assignment that wasnt hard or me and cant wait to present it. I enjoy presentations in this class because I feel comfortable talking and showing my work with this class specifically. I usually sufer from social anxiety and presenting is hard or me. I see your class as a safe place to present so I really enjoy that. I am feeling ok today and just ready to go home and sleep. 

 Today in class we read another lagnston hugehes poem. It was about freedom and I enjoyed reading it as a class and all discussing it. I enjoy lessons like this because it allows me to feel involved and not just reading pages of a book. I am feeling great today especially sense we dont have school tomorrow. i learned more ways to analyze poems and how to looks at things with a broader perspective.

 Today in class we watched a video on langston huges reading a poem. The negro speaks of rivers was a really good poem in my opinion and the word play on it was creative. It was really deep and personal and I felt a good understanding of it. We had questions on the poem aswell.  Today I am feeling ok and I enjoyed todays lesson.

 Today we had a sub in the class. We had to read chapter 8 and complete the common lit assignment on canvas. Other then that class was really chill and quiet. Im having a really good day and ready to go home and eat.

 For spring break I drove down to seaside Florida. I got there on Sunday morning and immediately went to go hangout with my friends that also drove down there. That first day started off crazy but was genuinely fun. Then the next morning I went out the beach right across from the place I was staying and met up with some friends over there. Like an hour after I realized I had to go rent a bike because we were going really far walking and i got tired. After I got my bike me and a couple people biked down to a beach where a lot of our friends were and had a great beach day. The water was kind of cold because the sun UV wasn’t that high but the waves were huge so me and a couple people swam far and was wave ridding. When we got back from the beach to collect our bikes we realized one of my friends bikes got stollen which really surprised us.  But we ended up going back to the house washing up and enjoying the rest of the day.
