 today in class we worked on character presentations. I already finished mine and felt as if this was a good assignment that wasnt hard or me and cant wait to present it. I enjoy presentations in this class because I feel comfortable talking and showing my work with this class specifically. I usually sufer from social anxiety and presenting is hard or me. I see your class as a safe place to present so I really enjoy that. I am feeling ok today and just ready to go home and sleep. 

 Today in class we read another lagnston hugehes poem. It was about freedom and I enjoyed reading it as a class and all discussing it. I enjoy lessons like this because it allows me to feel involved and not just reading pages of a book. I am feeling great today especially sense we dont have school tomorrow. i learned more ways to analyze poems and how to looks at things with a broader perspective.

 Today in class we watched a video on langston huges reading a poem. The negro speaks of rivers was a really good poem in my opinion and the word play on it was creative. It was really deep and personal and I felt a good understanding of it. We had questions on the poem aswell.  Today I am feeling ok and I enjoyed todays lesson.

 Today we had a sub in the class. We had to read chapter 8 and complete the common lit assignment on canvas. Other then that class was really chill and quiet. Im having a really good day and ready to go home and eat.
